Lena has already established her name as a photographer in various cultural domains dominated by her work in the fashion industry. Alongside her fashion photography practice, Lena’s work has paralleled a wide range of cultural segments from street photography to documenting art, music, and film. Her photography practice today implements these accumulated experiences that serve her as a methodology for presenting an absolute raw notion of the moment she captures. Lena has photographed backstage at almost every high-fashion show in the past five years and was commissioned to be a part of Givenchy’s recent rebranding strategy.
Irrespective of the photographed situation, she adopts a meticulous personal style and consistently employs her documentary perspective in her work. With a collective of her friends, she co-founded an independent periodical magazine, Circ, which strives to bring online forums into the offline world and provide a sense of community via its physical form and open-call nature.
