Kinga
Kinga is a photographer and art director whose works delve into the essence of her inner world. Her creativity prevails in the absolute balance of colours, set designs, and ideas conveyed in her outcomes. As a co-owner of the successful Wilhelm Kinga creative studio, she introduces her pure and fresh visual ideas to the world of communication, commerce and campaign. Kinga was formally educated within the field of her current career path in Prague in times, when queuing in front of the Equipment Library for a digital compact camera was a necessity. Later on, Kinga developed her professional career in the creative field via set design practice. Throughout this time she discovered the ideal means of her character as a creative by interconnecting her natural imagination, sense of colour, exaggeration and humour. Her distinctive playful style of work is evident in her campaigns for Baťa, Ikea and Samsung, while winning her the Swarovski x Answear still life award.
Kinga’s latest photography projects include beauty editorials for Cosmopolitan or her own portrait series @jsmepersony. All of her works authentically portray the essence of dynamic characteristics and vibrant colours that surround the captured subject in her timeless style of work. Kinga describes this approach further in her statement: “I try to see people and things beyond their horizon, to capture how colours vibrate around them and how characters accentuate. I don’t know how am I able to do that but I manage to create timeless visuals. Seriously, it’s my magic. When I look back at the work I’ve done decades ago, there are things not following the trends, and it’s hard to say whether the work was created in the present or the future.”
