Adrián Čermák
Adrián’s childhood immersed him in a musically rich environment due to his family’s professional careers in the fields of composing, singing and documentary film directing. Due to his early exposure to the music industry and culture, Adrián developed a strong foundation in music theory and practice. Therefore, his skills and abilities allow him to seamlessly integrate his compositions into screen-based environments. Therefore complements the overall atmosphere of the audio-visual experience. During his graduate degree studies in Composing for Film and Television at the National Film and Television School, Adrián worked on multiple critically acclaimed films such as Silence, The Dinner After or It Feels Personal.
His most recent projects range from composing for film to TV and commercials for clients such as Canon, O2, Netflix or Škoda as well as composing for video games Vivat Slovakia or Frame of Mind. Adrián’s unique approach involves sensible, experimental, yet classical, live instrument fusion with digitally composed works. His passion for collecting unusual musical instruments has been the driving force behind his creative experimentation and research of sound as a medium.
